7 days, 7 actions, 7 stakeholders: The 7 — 7 — 7 Campaign

09.03.2026 - The 7— 7 — 7 campaign, launched by the Health Diplomacy Alliance from 18 to 24 November 2025 during World AMR Week, mobilised seven stakeholder groups around seven key actions over seven days. Each day, a major stakeholder group was highlighted through a thematic online campaign led by several partners. Recorded messages and awareness-raising videos were disseminated online and at the CFF railway station stand in Geneva, strengthening the campaign’s visibility and impact.

Sensibilisierungs-Stand am Bahnhof Cornavin

An AMR awareness stand was set up throughout the day on 18 November 2025 at Geneva’s Cornavin railway station – the busiest station in the city – to engage the public in an accessible way. The initiative helped raise awareness among many passers-by through multilingual exchanges, educational materials – including resources produced and distributed in coordination with the Canton of Geneva – large-scale projections of campaign content, and a dedicated interview space. For many visitors, this was their first introduction to the issue of antimicrobial resistance.

2025 Global Intergenerational Dialogue on AMR

The 2025 Global Intergenerational Dialogue on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) brought together speakers from the Quadripartite, as well as representatives of youth-led organisations, with the aim of strengthening collaboration across generations and sectors. Building on existing global momentum, the initiative gathered and highlighted youth perspectives through dedicated surveys, while fostering the exchange of experiences and successes across regions and areas of action. The dialogue also identified practical, actionable recommendations to sustainably embed an inclusive One Health approach at the core of global AMR governance.

Pont du Mont-Blanc flagged out for WAAW 2025

The deployment of flags by the Health Diplomacy Alliance from 17 to 19 November 2025 was one of the most visible actions of World AMR Awareness Week 2025. Installed on Geneva’s Pont du Mont-Blanc, the display provided outstanding visibility at one of the city’s main transit points, used daily by residents and tourists alike. The bridge records an average daily traffic volume of around 55,000 vehicles, 14,500 pedestrians and 6,500 cyclists, significantly amplifying the reach of the campaign’s message.

Geneva’s Jet d’eau fountain illuminated blue

The illumination in blue of Geneva’s famous Jet d’eau fountain on 23 November was one of the highlights of the campaign coordinated by the Health Diplomacy Alliance to publicise World AMR Awareness Week 2025. The symbolic action provided a powerful visual reminder of the ongoing global struggle to combat antibiotic resistance, and underlined our collective commitment to protect and promote health the world over.
