At the annual programme meeting of the ‘Antimicrobial Resistance’ National Research Programme (NRP 72), researchers and representatives of the Strategy on Antibiotic Resistance (StAR) came together to exchange ideas and experiences. The main focus of their discussions were the initial results of the 40 or so projects underway.

World Antibiotic Awareness Week 2018

From 12 to 18 November 2018, international bodies including the World Health Organization (WHO) are initiating another World Antibiotic Awareness Week to raise awareness of antibiotic resistance among members of the public, professionals and political decision makers across the globe.

A look back at Antibiotic Awareness Week 2017

At the initiative of the Federal Public Health (FOPH), Food Safety and Veterinary (FSVO), Ag-riculture (FOAG), and Environment (FOEN) Offices, during the week from 13 to 19 November 2017 various actors organized and staged more than 50 activities. Afterwards the actors participating were asked to complete a questionnaire. Here you will find a synopsis of the week and the evaluation of the responses.
